When can I come?

During this tour, discover 5 medieval villages in the “Vallée de Vère”.

This excursion will be a deep breath with beautiful views, for the nature and old stones lovers.

Group can be from 2 to 8 people, more people on demand.

What level of physical activity should travelers expect ? Easy, most travelers can participate, although we walk in the villages, we highly recommend you to wear comfortable walking shoes.



Visit Puicelsy, Bruniquel, Penne, Castelnau-de-Montmiral and Saint Antonin de Noble Val. 



Day tour from 9 am to 6 pm


In the morning departure to Puycelsi planted on its rocky outcrop. You will have a unique view of the Gorges de l’Aveyron and the forest of Grésigne below! Perched at the top of a cliff, Bruniquel offers facades crafted in limestone, wild gardens, steep streets paved with pebbles, beautiful homes dated from the 15th, 16th, and 17th century. Then we will go to the village Penne, the medieval charm that emerges from the streets of the village invites you to stroll. And it is by raising the eyes that you will come face to face with the fortress of Penne!

Lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon we will walk to Castelnau-de- Montmiral which was built in 1222. The picturesque Place de la Mairie is lined with houses with various facades, stone, timber, brick. Then, we will go to the medieval city of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. Founded in the 8th century around an old Benedictine abbey, it has a beautiful heritage, witnessed by it’s past as an important craft and commercial center.
