When can I come?
Available throughout the year. The only question you need to ask of yourself regarding availability is “How soon can I get here?”. We operate throughout the year with places obviously in highest demand during the peak summer season. Please contact us for availability.

Our highly experienced and qualified chefs will teach you some of the techniques utilised in fine dining as well as those mouth-watering home cooked dishes that will remain etched in your minds and taste buds thereafter. Allowing you to provide the perfect French dining experience and topic of conversation on those special nights in with family and friends.

Our ingredients are all locally sourced from artisanal farmers and local market traders insuring the freshest and highest quality ingredients go into every dish.In France the one thing we don’t joke about is our food. We guarantee that you will leave us having enjoyed an enriching experience, in regards to our tutors, our facility and its location in one of the most beautiful and culturally rich parts of the world.

Having honed your culinary skills, those uniquely French intricacies and techniques experience has taught us that you will have developed a real thirst. So why not relax and enjoy a glass or two by our sun swept pool in the heart of the French wine region.

We provide a variety of options to meet your needs, should you not quite find what you are looking for, please contact us via the details listed and we’ll create a bespoke package that is truly just perfect for you.

All the trips are bespoke according to your willings!

DAY 1 Sunday

Transfer from the airport or train station (Toulouse, Carcassonne Castelnaudary; others on demand) to your Gîte or your Hôtel in our high quality 8 seat transport minibus. . Or you can rent a car on your own if you want to have more freedom during the week (gîtes are all isolated from town situated in amazing rural environment), otherwise Tresor Languedoc will take care of your transport for excursions (included in the tour) but also other purposes on demand (shopping for example).Trésor Languedoc can help you to rent the car.

DAY 2 Monday

Traditional outdoor market or visit of a traditional pottery + lunch on your own + cookery class (pâtisserie or macarons) in the afternoon. 

DAY 3 Tuesday

Cookery class in the morning and lunch + Visit of the Medieval fortress “la Cité de Carcassonne” and wine tasting in a private vineyard.

DAY 4 Wednesday

Morning at leisure + lunch on your own + Cookery class in the afternoon (learn how to make the traditionnal dish of Castelnaudary : the “Cassoulet” and bring your “cassole” home).

(The dish that symbolizes Castelnaudary is called “Le Cassoulet”, this hearty stew is made with pork sausage, duck confit all surrounded by savory soupy white beans…Cassoulet gets its name from the dish in which it is prepared, a cassole. This is a casserole like dish made from a mixture of clay from the Lauragais region around Castelnaudary that is particularly heat resistant).

DAY 5 Thursday

Cookery class in the morning and lunch + Visit of farm and cheese tasting.

DAY 6 Friday

Morning at leisure + Chocolate workshop

DAY 7 Saturday

Latest departure at 10 AM, transfer to the airport or train station.

 

Meal at the gîte can be arranged with a home cook (prices on demand). We can advice you on best restaurants addresses!
